iEARN-USA was selected by the US Department of Education, Office of Educational Technology to produce The Teacher's Guide to International Collaboration on the Internet for US teachers on collaborating international through the Internet. Former Secretary of Education, Richard Riley, was one of the award recipients at the 2000 iEARN-USA gala.
