Thank you for supporting iEARN!

Jan 12, 2012 | Uncategorized

Thank you for your ongoing support for global education and iEARN’s mission: to enable young people worldwide, working in collaboration and dialogue, to make a meaningful contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its people.

Please help us to continue this important work in 2012 by donating today.

I just finished making an online donation to iEARN on behalf of my global ed kids. They took $50 of their bake sale, plastic water bottle recycling money and decided that they wanted to support iEARN. In connecting with students in other cities and countries, and being involved in so many projects that matter, they’ve come to the conclusion (on their own) that “hooking up” with iEARN (their terminology!) was the best thing they’ve done all year. I agree. Thank you for creating a great organization. I’m lucky to be a “newbie” part of it, with my kids. – iEARN Teacher in Philadelphia, PA

Through support from our funders and partners, iEARN has engaged young people throughout the world who would not otherwise have contact with one another to learn about and with each other. From Omaha, Nebraska, to Karachi, Pakistan, to Kampala, Uganda, we are helping young people to use technology to collaborate, take action in their own communities, and to understand themselves as part of the larger world around them.

Check out our most recent annual report for some examples of iEARN-USA’s impact.

To help us achieve the ambitious goals we have set for 2012 and beyond, we are working to raise $50,000 by January 15th. To reach this amount, I need your support.

I hope you will join us in this campaign to enable more young people to have an international experience as part of their education.

Contributions can also be made by way of a check: payable to iEARN-USA. Mail to iEARN-USA, 475 Riverside Drive, Suite 450, New York City, NY 10115.

iEARN-USA is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
