Stefanie Ortiz-Cidlik
Executive Director
With over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience, Stefanie joined the iEARN team as Executive Director in 2019. Throughout her career, Stefanie has focused on youth development organizations, spending several years in the alcohol, tobacco, and drug prevention field where she led a team that trained teachers and youth workers to deliver a nationally-awarded prevention program. Prior to joining iEARN-USA, as the Chief Executive of USA Girl Scouts Overseas, Stefanie led Girl Scouts’ international operations bringing the Girl Scout program to girls in 90 countries around the world.
She served multiple terms on the Lancaster County, Nebraska Women’s Commission during which she started and hosted a talk show focused on topics that impact women and has twice served as a Girl Scout delegate to the World Conference. Currently, Stefanie sits on the iEARN International Executive Council, the Alliance for International Exchange Board of Directors, and the Stevens Initiative Survey of the Virtual Exchange Field Committee. In 2023, Stefanie was named a Power Player in Education by PoliticsNY & am NY Metro. She holds a BA in Human Resource Management and an MA in Management from Diane University.
