Our Fall 2018 iEARN Online Educator Course, Introduction to Online Collaboration and Global Projects, has come to an end. A total of 31 teachers from 13 countries successfully completed the course. They were from Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroon, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Mali, Paraguay, Turkey, Uganda, United States, and Uruguay. The teachers were split into three course sections and led by three experienced iEARN facilitators from Brazil, Algeria, and the United States.
iEARN-USA supports a select group of leaders in our U.S. network of educators to represent iEARN as Global Education Ambassadors (GEAs). These GEAs promote innovative global education both inside and outside of the classroom through global collaborative projects and virtual exchange between teachers and students in the US and internationally.

iEARN joins our partners at Kids Can Make a Difference to celebrate their 25th anniversary! iEARN has been working with KIDS since 2010, when they became a prominent partner and program in our international network. KIDS is an educational program for middle- and high school students focuses on the root causes of hunger and poverty, the people most affected, solutions, and how youth can help. The major goal is to stimulate the students to take some definite follow-up actions as they begin to realize that one person can make a difference.

NSLI-Y is a scholarship program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Apply for the 2019-2020 program by October 30, 2018. Scholarship awardees live abroad and study languages such as Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, Persian, Korean, and Turkish.
