During the workshops, which occurred in Dushanbe, Qurgonteppa and Khujand, the educator facilitators presented various topics from the first workshop. Professional photographers and photography teachers also provided participants with instruction on basic photography techniques. Participating students and educators then went on photo walks, including to the local market, a restaurant, a supermarket and the central market/bazaar, to practice the photography techniques they learned and capture food heritage and food systems-related images, after which they created and presented photo essays.
