Online Course Scholarships for New iEARN Teachers

Gce Syria

Connect with these Teachers in Syria through Global Connections 2.0

iEARN-USA is now offering online course scholarships to U.S. high school teachers new to iEARN as part of the Global Connection and Exchanges 2.0 program. This collaborative learning experience will allow educators to communicate and network with colleagues from 19 countries in the Middle East and North Africa and build bridges between their students through online projects.

The first 6-week online course will begin in March 2013.  Teachers who complete the course and become active in online projects may also have a chance to participate in iEARN’s Annual Conference in Qatar in July 2013. To take part in this opportunity and connect your class with classes globally, please fill out the statement of interest by December 31, 2012.

iEARN-USA's co-facilitated online courses guide educators in evaluating and aligning global projects with curriculum standards as part of an integrated project plan.  Educators will develop a unique project plan for their own classroom and work alongside other course participants from the Middle East and North Africa.
