iEARN-Pakistan and iEARN-USA team up on Journalism 2.0 Workshop

23 middle and high school teachers from eight schools of different towns of Karachi participated in a 3-day workshop from December 13-15, 2011 as part of the Global Connections and Exchange Program, “Journalism 2.0: Empowering a New Generation of Civic Education Leaders.”

This two-year program, funded by the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, focuses on developing journalism and media skills among students in Ecuador, Pakistan, Tajikistan Thailand, and the USA by connecting them to examine their own and each other's national elections that will occur in 2012-2013.
