From May 16-18, a group of teachers in Ecuador are participating in a three-day workshop in Guayaquil at La Universidad Casa Grande (see photo) for their first experience with iEARN. 

The teachers will be joining their peers in Thailand, Pakistan, Tajikistan and the US for the Global Connections and Exchange High School Journalism 2.0 Program.

iEARN participants are encouraged to send them a warm welcome in the iEARN Teachers Forum.

This Global Connections and Exchange Program (GCEP) is made possible through funding from the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State.  The program focuses on engaging participants in cross-cultural collaboration to help youth develop journalism and media skills.
