Thank you to everyone who supported iEARN-USA's first Global Trivia Night at Solas Bar NYC! More than $1,500 was raised to support iEARN-USA's global programming and we had a great time in the process. We are so grateful for the support from our guests, donors, and sponsors who made this event a success!

The event began with a cocktail hour, with catering donated by wonderful local restaurants: Absolute Bagels, Broadway Au Lait, Chapati House NYNai TapasSan Marzano, and Thai Market.

Throughout the evening, bidding took place over many beautiful silent auction items donated by local and global artisans and organizations, including: Good Morning New York: A New Musical (a Jacklyn Thrapp LLC production)Lara Tomlin - The Painted PupIzzy ProvisionsRelationshipsYarn Cakes, and iEARN International Partner Organizations: iEARN Bangladesh, iEARN Mali, iEARN Pakistan, iEARN Sierra Leone, and iEARN Suriname.

Global Trivia Night

iEARN-USA's Executive Director, Stefanie Ortiz-Cidlik, kicked off the program, sharing about the importance of global competence education, and Moiz Rehan, iEARN staff member and Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program alumna, shared about the impact of his program experience. The Global Trivia game was then led by iEARN-USA staff members with many fun and challenging rounds, with the winning team receiving special prizes for their achievement.
