The Arabic language version of the CSYN Teacher’s Guide to Online Collaboration and Global Projects is now available for educators to view and download online! [an English version is also available] With the start of a new academic year, this guide is a valuable resource for Arabic language speaking educators in the CSYN program and the iEARN network for planning collaborative projects.

This guide, developed as part of the U.S. Department of State's virtual exchange program called the Chris Stevens Youth Network (CSYN), assists educators in designing and implementing global collaborative projects to connect schools in the U.S. with schools in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Arabic version of the guide was translated by iEARN Jordan, led by Country Coordinator Khitam Al-Utaibi. This resource includes nine modules with steps to help educators select a project relating to one of eight global themes, develop a project plan, and conduct a collaborative project using technology for dialogue and exchange with classes around the world. The Arabic version of the Teacher’s Guide also includes a glossary of terms with descriptions and translations for project based learning and education technology.

Many thanks to the educators in the Chris Stevens Youth Network who contributed the project plans, photos, reflections, and tips included in the guide, to Matiri Designs for the beautiful design and layout, and to iEARN Jordan for translating and contextualizing this resource!
