Maria Conte

I have been a member of iEARN for many years and am currently the Co-Facilitator of the Teddy Bear Project. I infuse global collaborative projects into my curriculum whenever appropriate. Global collaborative projects have given my students a window to explore outside of our classroom. With the interactions they have had with other countries, the students have had experiences that led them to become globally aware. The exposure to different cultures have granted them the tools to become appreciative and cognizant of the diversity of people outside of their communities. Each school year my students and I look forward to make new connections with students around the world.
