Dec 18, 2019 | Uncategorized

Are you looking for a fun and easy way for you and your students to participate in your first virtual exchange experience? iEARN-USA is excited to announce that it will be conducting the Our Voices, Our World pilot project in the beginning of 2020 and is looking for teachers who are new to iEARN projects to help test out new ways to connect students in collaborative online projects. Learn more and apply below!

Project Overview

The main goal of the Our Voices, Our World project is to ensure student-to-student connections through meaningful dialogue and exchange. Students will connect with and become part of a global community of peers through asynchronous and synchronous online connections. Students will begin the project with a focus on identity — understanding and expressing their own identities and those of their global peers — followed by an exploration of cultural and personal values. Students will then connect their values and experiences with global issues by learning about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The program will culminate with students completing a hands-on project, where they express their hopes and dreams for the world, while connecting them with local and global issues. Read on for more details and to apply.
