iEARN’s Global Educator Hangouts are virtual meetings open to K-12 educators around the world and across the iEARN network. Join these hangouts to connect with other like-minded educators, share your project ideas and experiences, and find international partners to collaborate with. These hangouts will utilize virtual breakout rooms to allow educators to connect with one another in multiple small groups.

Technical Requirements
Our virtual hangouts take place on the Zoom Video Conference platform. This is a free and easy tool for synchronous video connections. To join and participate in the educator hangout you will need:
- Internet connection
- Computer, tablet, or phone (Computer is the preferred device)
- Microphone capabilities
- Video Camera / Webcam
Note: We strongly encourage using a video camera or webcam, so that you can see one another face-to-face. If you do not have a camera, you can still participate in the event using only a microphone.
