Heather Berry

Heather Berry is truly passionate about creating positive environmental change through teaching students how to make a difference in the world. Heather works in Highlands Ranch, CO where she teaches Environmental Science to high school students. She also serves as a Sustainability Learning Specialist for her district, providing support to teachers on environmental education. Heather believes strongly that students need to learn how to effectively work with people in other countries and cultures in order to make progress on global environmental issues.

Heather gives presentations about student led project based learning at various state and national conferences. She has been awarded the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Education, University of Colorado Outstanding Educator Award and was the Douglas County School District Secondary Teacher of the Year.
