Helpful Resources for Implementing Virtual Exchange
We have compiled resources to help prepare administrators, teachers, and students more effectively make use of our programs.Ā
Preparation is the Key to Successful Classroom Exchange
The following activities will help prepare students for a transformative virtual exchange experience. Designed to help students build cross-cultural understanding and communication skills, these exercises will enable students to explore global perspectives and develop the empathy needed for meaningful exchange. iEARN-USA partner classes use activities like these to set the foundation for a successful virtual exchange by preparing students to connect, share, and learn from peers worldwide.

The Global Goals
In 2015, iEARN launched a major effort to mobilize its global network and other global education partners to realize the U.N’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of targets designed to be a āblueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for allā. As a result of this effort, all iEARN projects are aligned with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals. The projects are aslso connected because they meet at least one SDG and help students develop global competence according to the PISA 2018 Global Competence assessment.
