Having lived and taught overseas in Africa and Europe for almost two decades, being a globally minded teacher was always a part of me. However, for the past three years teaching at John Handley High school and being involved in Global Education in the classroom via iEARN and the Stevens Initiative has given my students a new perspective of learning WITH the world and not just about it. They now have colleagues from across the planet that they can exchange ideas and learn how to communicate with both virtually and face to face.
