Christy Allison
Christy Allison is a pragmatic, mixed-methods evaluator with over 20 years of experience in international education and international development. She has extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research that is utilization-focused within specific local contexts. She has worked in 56 countries with a philosophy of instilling capacity and leveraging local knowledge to meet development challenges related to poverty alleviation, education, economic growth, and human rights. Cathy Healy
Cathy Healy is a director for Partners of the Americas and a member of the IEARN-USA Advisory Board. She created and was the liaison for the two organizations’ Connecting Teachers, Connecting Classrooms Initiative. An award-winning editor-in-chief, Cathy was recruited from the print Américas magazine to National Geographic’s Insider magazine. She co-founded Geographic’s Intranet and took early retirement for a Reuters Digital Vision Fellowship at Stanford University. Read More
Lisa Jobson
Lisa Jobson directs Digital Promise’s 360° Story Lab, supporting creators of all ages to experiment with immersive storytelling and design to share their perspectives and inspire positive action on issues they care about. Lisa started her career as a high school teacher in Providence, Rhode Island and Mmabatho, South Africa, and then served for over 18 years in a variety of roles at iEARN-USA directing technology strategy, program design, and new partnership initiatives. Teresa Kennedy
Teresa Kennedy holds a joint appointment as Professor of International STEM and Bilingual/ELL Education in the College of Education and Psychology School of Education and in the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler (2009 – present). She has over 30 years of experience in higher education (since 1988) and her K-12 teaching experience includes 8 years at the secondary level and 7 years at the elementary/middle school level in Idaho, Oregon and Washington, with secondary teaching certifications in Science (Earth Science and Natural Science), Social Studies, Spanish, English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education, and elementary certification in all subject areas. Camilla Modesitt is a leader in the world of language immersion. She is a co-founder of and a Director at the Denver Language School (DLS), an award-winning, high-performing K-8 early total immersion charter school in Denver Public Schools offering Chinese and Spanish. In her daily work at DLS, she is committed to creating an equitable, accessible, and inclusive experience for students and families, and to sharing the transformative impact of language immersion in public education. Ann Tollefson
Ann Tollefson is a national consultant in the development, implementation, and evaluation of world-language programs. She began her career as a high school teacher of French where she received a number of teaching awards, including Wyoming Teacher of the Year. After working as a district-level administrator, she served as the world-language content specialist for the Wyoming Department of Education. Read More
I-Chun Tsai
Dr. I-Chun Tsai is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology in the
LeBron James Family Foundation School of Education at the University of Akron, Ohio. Dr. Tsai received her Ph.D. in the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri in May 2008. Dr. Tsai’s expertise includes visualizing social interaction of virtual learning environments, analyzing social nature of online learning, and design and integrating instructional technologies (i.e. AI technologies, Virtual Reality, 3D Printing, interactive multimedia, etc.) in K-12 settings..
