100 educators from 14 countries to start Adobe Youth Voices Online Courses

From September 19 – November 13, 2011, iEARN will be facilitating a series of online professional development courses for 100 educators from Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, China, Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Oman, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Uganda, and the USA as part of the Adobe Youth Voices Program

The Adobe Youth Voices online course, developed by EDC in partnership with iEARN, is designed to introduce educators to the Adobe Youth Voices program and to help them more effectively support youth media making.

iEARN is one of five founding non-profit partners who helped to launch the Adobe Youth Voices program in 2006, and is currently administering AYV programs in Argentina, Bahrain, Belarus, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, China, East Jerusalem, Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, and the USA.

Since 2006, iEARN has provided professional development for over 600 educators around the world to join the Adobe Youth Voices program. Check out a sample of their students’ media work on the iEARN Adobe Youth Voices YouTube Channel.
