How do teachers plan their assessments?
How Do Teachers Plan Their Assessments?
Goals
  • Organize learning so that it is visible and can be documented.

  • Identify the assessment activity and focus that would be most appropriate for the project .

  • Identify what "essential learning" will be assessed (e.g. valuable to the teacher, this particular group of students, the frameworks and standards of your state and region, the school, the parents, and other members of the community).

  • Choose assessments diverse enough to include all students, meet their diverse learning styles, take into account their background and skills, yet specific enough to provide relevant and meaningful feedback to all involved.
    Think about these areas
