Join Global Leadership Week, April 25-29, 2016

Global Leadership Week 2016

iEARN-USA is excited to participate in Global Leadership Week (GLW), a weeklong convening of virtual and face to face events designed to celebrate leadership through global action in K20 education. Global Leadership Week will take place from April 25 to 29, 2016. iEARN-USA is excited to join GLW through participation in the convening summit on April 25th at Edmodo, the mini-conference on April 26th, and a hosted session on April 28th.

On April 25, iEARN-USA will participate in the Global Leadership Summit, a face-to-face convening at Edmodo’s headquarters in San Mateo, California. iEARN-USA's Director of Education will facilitate a panel on "Charting the Course for a Globally Connected and Future Ready School:  Planning and  Prioritizing at the Leadership Level". 

A four-hour mini-conference focused on global education leadership will be held entirely online on April 26, 2016, from 12 PM - 4 PM PST. Barry Kramer, iEARN educator, Global Learning Circles Coordinator, and member of the iEARN-USA Board of Directors, will present a session titled "iEARN Global Learning Circles: Lessons Learned from 25 Years of Telecollaboration".  

As part of Global Leadership Week, other teachers, groups or organizations who support global education leadership will be hosting virtual events. Join iEARN-USA for a session on April 28th at 10:00 am EST on "Teaching and Learning with the World through Virtual Exchange".
