Colin Powell Visits iEARN-Morocco Students
On
December 11, 2004, U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell, met with a
delegation of Moroccan students who had visited the U.S. as
participants in the BRIDGE Program, Building Respect through Internet
Dialogue.
As a highlight of this U.S. Department of State-sponsored program, the
BRIDGE program gave four Moroccan students and one teacher the
opportunity to be involved in a three-week physical exchange where they
traveled to the U.S., attended a U.S. high school, and stayed with host
families. During their visit, they learned about educational practices
and the use of technology in one another |
