iEARN-USA, is a founding member of the iEARN International community. Our team serves a membership of 4,000 US teachers, coordinates the iEARN online professional development courses, hosts the global Collaboration Centre, and provides training and assistance to iEARN programs worldwide.

iEARN-USA has been widely recognized for its efforts as a leader in the global education industry.

iEARN-USA produces the US Department of Education’s Teachers Guide to International Collaboration on the Internet and is a founding partner of the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA)’s Global Connections and Exchange Program; the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program; and the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) Program.

iEARN-USA was awarded the inaugural 2003 Goldman Sachs Foundation Prize for Excellence in International Education and was a 2004 Tech Museum Laureate, Education category. In 2010, iEARN-USA co-chaired the K-12 Task Force for the US Summit and Initiative for Citizen Diplomacy. iEARN-USA is a partner of the 100,000 Strong initiative, which seeks to increase the number of US students studying in China. 

In 2016, iEARN was one of 10 awardees of the Stevens Initiative, and is currently implementing the BRIDGE program with 10 Middle East and North Africa Partners.
